During August 2010 an historic event for martial arts took place in Beijing, it was called the 2010 Beijing Sportaccord Combat Games.

It was a great honor for Rising Dragon School when they were asked to represent Shaolin Kung Fu and The Shaolin Temple by performing with Jackie Chan at the opening ceremony of the Sportaccord Combat Games.

Scott Bird and his 16 Rising Dragon students who took part in this event was all very honored to have met and performed with such a great and accomplished person, Jackie Chan!
