Xie Zi Ying – 28th Generation of Wu dang Quan Zhen Long Men Sect.

We are delighted, proud and privileged to announce the arrival at our school one of China's most honoured and celebrated Taiji Masters, Xie Zi Ying.

Born in 1944 Master Xie started her basic martial arts training at the age of just 7 years in her hometown of ShaoXing, Zhejiang Province.

Although she practised and studied martial arts all of her life it was not until 1989 when providential fate brought her together with legendary Master Gou Gao Yi. By the end of 1989 she was at the top of Wu Dang Shan living in the Golden Taoist Temple for 3 years under going long hours of intense training every day under her new Wu Dang Gong Fu Master.

After 3 years at the top of Wu Dang Shan she began training Wu Dang San Feng Taiji Quan from Master Liu Huan Jun and Master Liu Rui. Whilst accomplishing this she also learned Dan Gong which is a form of Qigong focusing on the 3 Dantiens, from Master Li Xuan Tong. At the same time as if this was not enough! She learned Bagua Zhang from Master You Xuan De and Yang Style Taiji from Master Fu Zhong Wen.

Master Xi Zi Ying has now become a renowned Master of Wu Dang San Feng Taiji Quan, Wu Dang Jian & Dao, Traditional Yang Style Taiji Quan, and various other types of Taiji Quan & Taiji Jian (straight sword) and last but not least Qigong.

Master Xie Zi Ying entered the Wu Dang International Taiji Quan Tournament 3 times and came 1st three times a stupendous achievement. In addition she has won numerous Gold medals in Taiji Tournaments throughout China.
In 1998 the first Wu Dang Wushu Cup tournament started and Master Xie Zi Ying won the Gold Cup for Excellence by being the best overall performer.

Following this Shiyan City Wushu Association chose her to be a Wu Dang Wushu Master, being their coaching Master for many shows, performances and seminars.

Xie Zi Ying is a much loved and highly respected Master. She is a member of the Hubei Wushu Association, commissioner of the Shiyan Wushu Association and one of the Directors and researchers of the Wu Dang Shan and Wu Dang Quan research Academy.

She has reached the highest level for teaching Martial Arts and a 6th Degree level in Chinese Martial Arts.
Also she is included in the 2007 3rd world person dictionary.

Master Xie Zi Ying has devoted her life to the training, performing and promotion of Martial Arts and Chinese Martial arts in particular.

To train under the tutelage of Xie Zi Ying is a great honour and very special privilege, a rare and prized opportunity.
